Reading Nietzsche it's clear that he cares about his reader who are, like him, Northern Europeans living in modernity. He understands the struggles that Northern Europeans are going through after the metaphorical "death of god" during the scientific age. I'm was reading one of Nietzsche's book and he gives a certain amount of advice and he says something like and that will even improve your attractiveness with women; in other words if you grow in strength and power you will become more attractive to women. In his private letters he says to his friends that he is hopeful and that his writings provide some kind of existential therapy for people dealing with the current existential situation of the world.
Joseph Smith is not only a distant cousin of mine who lived also close to my modern era, but he wanted my people (Northern Europeans) to thrive in America and to be treated as the elect from the north. So rather than God only focused on Jerusalem as with the Bible, Joseph Smith’s Anglo-Americanized gospel has God focused on America. Joseph Smith bolstered my American nationality and my ethnicity as not a second-class citizens or pagan land, but the chosen lineage of Ephraimites on a choice land. So even though I see Joseph Smith engaged in the same myth-making as the Apostle paul, and I don't take it literally but as psychological symbolism, at least one is seeking to bolster my ethnic identity and cultural heritage as an Anglo-American while the other accusess me of being unclean as a ethnic pagan and possessed by an extraterrestrial alien called Sin.
So then I thought, what do the authentic letters of Paul say regarding what Paul wants for me as a Northern European. Well if I'm being honest I don't think Paul is my "friend." He seems to not really care about me as a person of Northern European heritage. As a Benjaminite Jewish man, convinced only Israel is pleasing to God, he seems to want me to sees myself as inferior genetically as a non-ethnic Jew, as "unclean," unchosen, so he basically "cuts me" with the myth of Sin, unclean lineage, and demons, and offers his "cure" of saving me by replacing my genes and cultural heritage with his through blood magic rituals. Aly because he narcissistically believes that his God chose him in his mother's womb to have this special status and calling to save the Gentiles before the coming wrath of his god. But look at what he's saying, he is saying that he believes in a God that requires a torture and blood sacrifice or his god will not annihilate Gentiles. Then on top of that, he's not really respecting my manhood, he's encouraging me to be celibate as the ideal state; and on top of that he's saying that I need to be supernaturally inseminated by a Jewish messiah in order for me to join his Jewish ethnicity by adoption. He also gives terrible advice about not fighting back and defending yourself because he claims his god will lump coles on people's head as vengeance is the Lord. In other words, he seems to be trying to get his devotees to be passive celibate, "living sacrifices" as he calls them. It's hard to not read the actual authentic letters of Paul and not see him talking just like Marshall Applewhite did in the Heavens Gate cult.
This is in fact what many of the Pauline Christians ended up doing, becoming celibate martyrs not high achieving successful high-status males having sex and enjoying their lives and having children and focusing on retirement. The Pauline ideal influenced most of the New Testament, for example in the Book of Revelation this Pauline ideal of male virginity as holy, continued with male virgins who are martyred are said to go straight to heaven. Paul said things like, I knew nothing but Christ crucified, it's no longer I but Christ who lives in me, and Christ's suffering was to be imitated so the more Paul suffere the closer he felt to Christ by imitating Christ as Christ was living in him in his mind. This is a weird psychological mind game where you piggyback on the mystery cult dying and rising god, not by succeeding and being strong and powerful like the other Greek mystery religions likely emphasized, but instead it's kind of like a reversal of Nature's Hierarchies, where you piggyback onto the genus of the dying rising god by being a suffering slave poured out as Paul puts as a libation (a living sacrifice); just like the Old Testament god sacrificed animals on the altar, you are made into a slave who was purchased, bought with the price, and you're a mere offering on the altar by basically being overly passive and submissive and bowing before an ethnic religious icon.
So how is Paul my friend? How does he care about me as a Northern European in the real world of competitive freemarket America? Where is his advice on anything practical for an American male seeking masculine territory/wealth, status and strength of will to compete and win and gain success and be attractive to women? He is utterly useless for an American today.
